Giving Back

Giving back to the environment

When we started our venture to find the world's best coffee, we quickly realized that we needed to do our part in giving back. That drove our focus on working with farms that pay fairly to their workers, ensure safe labor conditions, and processes that prohibit the use of harmful agro-chemicals. We also made coffee beans sourced from suppliers that train smaller farmers in processes that will boost yields while keeping the use of the land sustainable for future generations a top priority. Since then, our journey of creating quality coffee and impacting the world began and we haven't looked back.

But we also realized we could do more for those communities, so for EVERY item purchased we donate 5% to non-profits intended on bettering communities in need. Every purchase will allow you to choose where you want us to donate - either to a specific cause or to all! Below is a list of the current non-profit charities that we work with in creating a better planet:

Friends of the Earth International

Friends of the Earth International (FoEI) is an international network of environmental organizations in 74 countries. As per its website, the current campaign priorities of Friends of the Earth internationally are: economic justice and resisting neoliberalism, forests and biodiversity, food sovereignty and climate justice and energy. FoEI works with local communities and indigenous peoples to conserve forests, and strengthen communities’ rights and community management of forests. We campaign against industrial large scale plantations, monoculture, destructive logging and the commodification and financialization of forests and biodiversity. Vegan OutreachFounded in 1993, Vegan Outreach is a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to end violence towards animals. We seek a future when sentient animals are no longer exploited as commodities. Vegan Outreach focuses on exposing the suffering of farmed animals through the widespread distribution of our booklets promoting plant-based eating. By steadily increasing the number of vegans they're laying the groundwork to more quickly reach a tipping point. Vegan Outreach strives to hire a diverse staff and to place women and people of color in leadership positions to foster different perspectives on effective outreach. We are here to bring safe water and sanitation to the world through access to small, affordable loans. There is both a need and demand for these loans, because when people have access to safe water, they get time back to go to school, earn an income and take care of their family. It changes their world. One of the major barriers to safe water and sanitation is affordable financing. We address this barrier head-on through access to small, easily repayable loans. Every repaid loan creates a new opportunity for another family. By supporting, you are part of a solution that reaches more people, faster. Together with our 92 partners around the world, we've helped mobilize more than $1 billion in capital to support small loans that bring access to safe water and sanitation to millions of people in need. That’s how every $1 we put into WaterCredit creates $47 worth of impact. Click HERE to visit their official site.
