Copa Rica - Peru, Decaf Organic Fair Trade
Tootsie Roll, Graham Cracker, Chocolate Syrup
Our Copa Rica Organic Decaf Coffee is sourced from Cooperativa Agrícola de Servicios Múltiples Norandino (Norandino). Norandino is an umbrella organization established in 2005 to support a sustainable coffee supply from three coffee producing cooperatives in northern regions of Peru: CEPICAFE, CENFROCAFE, and Sol y Café. Combined, these organizations have approximately 7000 members who cultivate 25,000 acres of coffee in the regions of Piura, Cajamarca, Amazonas and San Martin. Coffee producers receive training and technical assistance in land management, irrigation, organic farming, productivity and quality control, and reforestation programs. Norandino also seeks to improve the quality of life for coffee producers and their families through projects promoting commercial diversification. Their responsible efforts and care for positive impact reflects clearly with the quality of beans they grow.
Grown in the rich cultural jungles of Peru, Copa Rica mirrors the landscape around it. Initially greeting the palate with a satisfying full body of a deep chocolate flavor, Copa Rica then evolves on the tongue to reveal it's sweeter notes of Tootsie Roll and graham cracker. Perfect to enjoy at anytime of day due to the Swiss Water Decaffeinating Process, Copa Rica will earn its place in any coffee lover's pantry.
